Blue River Interactive Group Acquires Sacramento-based Studio Squared
Sacramento, California, January 2007 -- Sacramento’s Blue River Interactive Group is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of Studio Squared Inc., a fellow Sacramento-based agency providing online services. The decision marks the natural outcome of a close and successful working relationship between the two agencies.
To date, Blue River and Studio Squared have collaborated on a number of key online projects, including Prosper magazine, SARTA, Amtrak California, Sutter Health and BusinessCoach.com.
“We’re really excited about the strengths this brings to our company,” said Malcolm O’Keeffe, Blue River CEO. “Studio Squared has deep technical expertise that rounds out and supports our commitment to helping business get the most out of their web initiatives.”
Studio Squared founders Matt Levine and Sean Schroeder, will join Blue River as chief technology and chief user experience officers, respectively. Levine and Schroeder also will become managing partners with original Blue River founders Ryan Thompson and Malcolm O’Keeffe.
In one of its first moves as a newly expanded company, Blue River will be launching a suite of web-based products geared toward simplifying online business functions. In coming weeks, Blue River will be unveiling the first in its new product line, Sava, an easy-to-use, affordable content management system.
“After a decade of tracking common client problems and needs, our products are a direct answer to the challenges we see so many businesses face in today’s online work environment,” said Schroeder. “We’re looking forward to serving our clients in new and better ways.”
